

MermaidsThere is just something about the way she looks at me from a cup of nutcracker tea in the morning when she hasn't gotten enough sleep. Her lush eyes follow me from the kitchen and back like an observant with nothing to say. So she makes a humorous remark to the air and spins around in the over stuffed salmon colored chair she's learned to love more than she hates. And somewhere between good morning and good night I see the little girl still inside those indecipherable orbs.
